RACE SPONSORSHIPS - We are also looking for race sponsors. If interested, download the 2016 Run for the Nets 5K Sponsorship document and please contact Becca MacDonald   at bmacdonald@kyumc.org or 1-800-530-7236 Ext. 334. There are several sponsorship levels available and your contributions are tax-deductible.  The deadline to become a Sponsor is May 31, 2016.
 

 
RACE DETAILS - The 4th Annual Run for the Nets 5K features a new course this year that takes runners and walkers past scenic farmland on an out and back course during a unique early evening run. The course starts and ends at the iconic Chaney’s Dairy Barn. It is fully paved and relatively flat, with a few gently sloping areas. All participants receive a free race t-shirt and a scoop of homemade ice cream, courtesy of Chaney’s.  A race shirt and goody bag is included with each registration.

AWARDS - Awards will be presented to the top three overall men and women finishers.  Age group awards will also be presented to the top three finishers in each age group (excluding the overall winners).

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable - no exceptions.  Entry fees are payable to the Kentucky Annual Conference - Net proceeds donated to Imagine No Malaria.

 


REGISTRATION - ONLINE REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL JUNE 5, 2016.

Late Registration is available during Packet Pick-up on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and RACE DAY Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 2:00pm - 5:00pm. Download the Race Entry Form and bring it with you or complete the form on-site. Cash or check only for on-site registration. Checks should be made payable to Kentucky Annual Conference (on the memo line put 2016 5K).

Register by mail - download a Race Entry Form.  Print out the form and mail it in with your payment made out to Kentucky Annual Conference.  On the memo line put 2016 5K.  Send in completed entry form, signed waiver, and entry fee, post-marked by June 5, 2016 to:

Once we have received and processed your registration, you will be sent a confirmation email.

 


PACKET PICK-UP - Packet Pick-Up will be at Chaney’s Dairy Barn on - Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and on Race Day, Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.   You must have your printed race confirmation and a photo ID with you to pick up your packet.  Packets will not be mailed under any circumstance.

 


RACE TIMING - Each runner will receive a race bib in their runner's packet.  The Run for the Nets 5K is classified as a fun run/walk.  Timing services are provided by Trax Running.

 


RACE WAIVER - You must complete and submit a race waiver to participate in the race.  The race waiver is combined with both the online and mail-in registration entry forms.  See the links listed in the previous section for registration information.
