Are you a young adult (age 20-30) interested in justice-based learning and working for social justice? Consider applying for the General Board of Global Ministries’ Mission Intern or US-2 program. These programs develop church leaders as young people work in communities facing issues like poverty, racism, and substance abuse.
US-2 missionaries serve two years working with a United Methodist partner organization in the United States. Mission interns serve for three years. Half of the time is spent in an international work/study assignment, and the remainder in an action/education assignment in one’s own country.
