The Kentucky Annual Conference Children’s Ministry Team of the United Methodist church is offering internship experiences for college students during their spring semester and summer break in children’s ministry. The purpose of the program is to identify, encourage and support those sensing a call to a career in children’s ministry.
Student Interns will be matched with a United Methodist Church in either the Lexington or Louisville areas with housing to be arranged by student and the host church. Interns will be mentored by experienced Children’s Pastors where they will gain a broad understanding of the inner workings of children’s ministry and may also earn their mentored ministry credit.

The KY Conference Children's Team is grateful for all the contrubutions given at Annual Conference to fund the "Children and Poverty" $1,000 Grants. These grants provide seed monies for such programs as: Summer Feeding programs, Back Pack programs, After School care and Van ministries.
Want to help the Children's Team ensure that grants to help local churches continue to minister to children and families that are facing the effects of poverty? What if your children could begin a Mission offering for "Change for Change" during Advent and Holy Week that could be used on Sunday or in the home? We are offering families and churches a way to give through devotionals which can be used during Advent or Lent seasons.
