Food connects us to some of the most important questions of our time.  We know our food system is one of the leading contributors of greenhouse pollution.  As a result, the food choices we make - individually and as a society - affect not only our health, but the health of the planet and all of Creation.  This presentation includes a screening of 30 minute documentary "Nourish" featuring Michael Pollan among others.  Refreshments provided.

How do our various religious scriptures inform our responsibility to care for creation?  What are the immediate and long term threats to creation posed by the global warming crisis?  What should our churches, temples and mosques be doing to be better stewards of energy and to best respond to this crisis?  This program explores these and other questions while sharing a variety of ways to conserve energy, be more energy efficient and utilize alternative energy in our congregations and at home.  Refreshments provided.
