Louisville’s Broadbent Arena was alive with music and laughter January 27-29 as it hosted Winter Blitz 2012.
The annual event, sponsored by the Kentucky Annual Conference Ministry with Young People, draws youth from around Kentucky as well as from nearby states. Bowling Green District Youth Event: Valentine, Be Mine

On Sunday, February 15, one day after Valentines Day, about 90 youth and youth pastors came together from nine different churches in the Bowling Green District for worship and fellowship at Christ UMC. The JAWS of life! from Broadway UMC led in a great time of worship. What a blessing it was to see so many youth clapping and hands raised as they worshiped the Lord together! Boys in Emergency Shelter Will Have Extra Special Christmas
Employees from Clark Material Handling Company delivered over $2,500 in Christmas gifts to the Kentucky United Methodist Children's Home in Versailles, Ky. The employees have "adopted" the Boy's Emergency Shelter, which has ten beds. Christmas presents arrived with each child’s name written on oversized gift bags.
