The General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA) released the June 2011 Financial Commitment report today. The report shows what all conferences have paid to GCFA for general church apportionments. Here is where the Kentucky Conference stands in relation to all other conferences:
· Kentucky is ranked 29th out of the 59 annual conferences in the amount apportioned (making us the median conference in terms of apportionments assessed).
· Kentucky is ranked 14th in the amount of actual dollars paid.
· Kentucky is ranked 10th in the percent of apportionments paid with 40% of apportionments paid.
· Four of the top 10 conferences by percent paid are missionary conferences, including Red Bird Missionary Conference, which is a 100%.
Kentucky Conference Treasurer Michael Watts is "thankful for the faithfulness of the churches of the Kentucky Conference who make this possible and also to the leadership each of you show.”
