In preparation for the 2013 health insurance plan, the Board of Pensions is working with the Cabinet to host workshops this coming October for active participants and those retirees under age 65 (both clergy and laity – including surviving spouses and spouses of retirees under age 65) enrolled in the Conference Health Plan.
A new part of the plan will be the Health Savings Accounts (HSA), which will require guidance to properly activate. Without an activated account, participants will not receive the full benefit of the new health plan.
The following is a list of the workshops being offered.
October 2 – Corbin District – 10:00 a.m. to Noon; Grace on the Hill (Corbin)
October 3 – Madisonville District – 10:00 a.m. to Noon, Hanson UMC
October 3 – Owensboro District – 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Wesleyan Heights UMC (Owensboro)
October 4 – Lexington District – 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Trinity Hill UMC
October 9 – Ashland and Prestonsburg Districts – 10:00 a.m. to Noon; Grace UMC (Raceland)
October 10 – Elizabethtown and Louisville Districts – 10:00 a.m. to Noon; Fern Creek UMC (Louisville)
October 11- Covington District – 10:00 a.m. to Noon; Butler UMC
October 17 – Frankfort District – 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.; Versailles First
October 25 – Bowling Green and Columbia Districts – 7:30-9:30 p.m.; GlasgowFirst UMC
