Isaiah Project Now Accepting Applications

January 31, 2014

Applications are now being accepted for 2014 Isaiah Project Interns and Host Churches. The 2014 internships will run from May 27 toAugust 3.

The Isaiah Project is an initiative of the Kentucky Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church to identify, encourage, and support young people who are feeling a possible call to the ordained ministry. It is designed to assist young people as they sense God's call upon their life in a specific way and to help them to discern exactly what God is calling them to do.
The Isaiah Project gives college students an opportunity to explore their call to ministry by providing an environment that will introduce them to several different areas of ministry in the local church.
The Board of Ordained Ministry is looking for host churches and accepting applications for Isaiah Project internships for summer 2014. The application deadline for interested churches or students is February  28, 2014.

To ensure that there are adequate locations for student placement, we ask for local churches to apply to be a host church. The mission of a host church is to give college students an opportunity to explore their call to ministry by providing an environment that will introduce them to several different areas of ministry in the local church.
