UMM Unit Recognition Program
UMM UNIT RECOGNITION PROGRAM
This Unit Recognition Award is to recognize those UMM groups who exhibit the ideals, missions, and connectionalism of United Methodist Men. There will be four levels of awards.
1st Level- Bronze Award
Awarded to those groups who:
Hold a current charter through the General
Commission on United Methodist Men
Have at least one member who contributes to the Evangelism, Mission,
and Spiritual Growth (EMS) program
Have at least one member who is a Legacy Builder (through the
GCUMM and the United Methodist Men Foundation)
2nd Level-Silver Award
Awarded to those groups who:
Meet all the previous criteria plus:
Contribute $100 to the Upper Room Prayer Line
Contribute $200 to the Society of St Andrew Meals for Millions
and become a Challenge Fellowship
Contribute $25 to the Kentucky Conference UMM
Attend a Kentucky Conference UMM event
Contributions to the Upper Room Prayer Line and the Society of St. Andrew should be made payable to the respective ministry and mailed to Mr. Lowell Chesnut, 452 McWhorter Road, London, KY 40741. Lowell will forward the checks to the appropriate ministry.
3rd Level - Gold Award
Awarded to those groups who attend:
Meet all the criteria for a Silver Award and:
Have an increase in the number of EMS participants
Have an increase in the number of Legacy Builders
4th Level Award- Platinum Award
Attend an SEJUMM event
Attend a national event (Such as the 10th National Gathering of UMM)
OR
Be the current sponsor of any scouting unit
