February 18, 2010 in Frankfort! Registration begins at 9:30am EST and the Rally beings at 10:00am EST in the Capitol Rotunda.

Shuttle Bus - A shuttle bus is available for the event to assist people in avoiding the tough parking situation and anxiety about getting around Frankfort. Please inform everyone about the Shuttle option and encourage all to take advantage of the service and to spread the word. The bus will be at the parking lot of First Church of God at 1029 Burlington Ln., off the first Frankfort exit turn left at the fist light and the church is the first right. We will post directions on the website: http://kyyouth.org/Advocacy/cad.htm.

 The bus will have two CAD banners on the sides so people should know where to go. Shuttle will start around 8:30am and run several trips through out the day. We will follow up with a set schedule so participants will know when it will run. This will be included in the booklet, and passed out when people enter the bus. Please let us know if you are interested in this option.

Registration - Please register for the event and encourage participants who are bringing groups to make sure all are registered (if you are bringing a group of children or youth, please indicate the number of youth). We need to make sure that we have enough materials for all. We also want to send an email to those registered with tips for the day. As of yesterday, only 170 people have registered for the Feb. event � our goal is 500+. We hope many of you will join us so we can fill the rotunda with child advocates � this is an extremely important time to get the needs of children front and center. Appointments with Legislators: You are encouraged to make appointments you�re your legislators NOW for the February 18^th date. This is very important! Call 502-564-8100 and ask for your legislator. A good time to meet with them is anytime before 10:00 and between 11:00 and 1:45. People also need to bring picture IDs to the capitol to get in.
