S.A.L.T.

Registration Deadline Extended to Tuesday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm

S.A.L.T. is an opportunity for you and your team to strategically plan how to more effectively do ministry with young people.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The weekend is designed for church teams of students and adults comprised of: youthworkers (paid or volunteer), Sunday School teachers, small group leaders, elected or appointed student leadership, young adult leadership, youth chaperones, and any other persons who have a role in the ministry with young people at your church.  (Ministry with Young People being defined as the years 12-30.)

Today’s children and teens grow up in a difficult and perplexing world. The rapid changes taking place in society often leave parents, youth workers, and educators baffled and confused. Those struggling to raise and relate to today’s young people want and need help understanding the complex and rapidly changing world of youth culture. This is the focus of our speaker for the weekend, Walt Mueller.

The Center for Parent and Youth Understanding (CPYU) is an organization to help adults and teens understand the media world in which they live together.  CPYU helps adults work with their teens rather than against them in appreciating what it is their teens like about their media.
