Fuente de Avivamiento Chartering Service was held Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 7:30 pm.

Over 300 hundred passionate worshippers were in attendance.

Fuente pastor Rev. Iosmar Alverez reminded us that "people are hungry" for the presence of Christ in their lives. Then Lexington District Superintendent started the historic business of chartering the first Hispanic UMC church in the Kentucky Conference.

Bishop Lindsey Davis oversaw the proceedings and was later joined onstage by Rev. Eliseo Mejia-Leiva and Rev. David Calhoun, who both played a large part in mentoring and walking along-side Rev. Alverez during this process.

With the chartering of Fuente, they become the largest Hispanic United Methodist Church in the United States under the strong leadership of Dr. Iosmar Alvarez.
