Welcome to the new web page for Disaster Response Ministry.  On this page we intend to provide current information, training opportunities, the status on disaster level events, and United Methodist ministering and being the hands and feet of Christ in response to disasters.

This page is a work in progress and will be evolving as needs and information come to light.  It will also depend on you the user to let us know what information you useful and to provide information on needs you are aware of and how your local church may be ministering in disaster situations.

Just as in natural disaster such as flooding and tornados, we are working toward a new normal as we deal with COVID-19.  With this in mind, please share the success stories of your community’s recovery efforts and take advantage of the information and training opportunities that are and will be available here to be better prepared as a family, church, community, district, and conference.
