Hurricane Florence caused immense flooding damage in North Carolina in September 2018. Long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts are needed. You're invited to join Bishop Leonard Fairley and Kentucky United Methodist Volunteers in Mission to travel to North Carolina for a Disaster Relief & Recovery mission trip. We will work in Robeson and/or Scotland County, North Carolina, two of the most ethnically diverse counties in the United States, and one of the poorest counties in North Carolina, which was hit hard by flooding from Hurricane Florence. We will help to rebuild homes that have been damaged and destroyed. No special skills are needed.
Dates: May 13 - May 19, 2019
Cost: $350 per person, includes lodging, meals, transportation, supplies and insurance
Deposit: $100 deposit due at the time of registration
Registration & Balance Deadline: April 15, 2019
Ages: Open to adults 18+, plus students aged 14-17 with adult chaperone accompanying
