Can’t get enough of camp?  Want to see what God is doing in another country?  Come join us as we participate in Children’s Camp in Serbia!  Join the Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church on a United Methodist Volunteers in Mission Trip to the Republic of Serbia, July 19-27, 2019. We will work with The United Methodist Church in Serbia where an existing mission partnership exist for Kentucky Methodists, as they offer a week long camp for the children in Serbia. 

The United Methodist Church in Serbia is actively engaged in God’s mission in their communities. The church, though small, is remarkably diverse. Churches serve the ethnic Serbian, Hungarian, Slovak, and Roma communities. Social outreach and evangelism are both important goals for Serbian Methodists, along with developing a new generation of leaders through ministry to children, youth, and young adults.

Come be a part of what God is doing in Serbia!
While in Serbia, the team will build relationships with United Methodists in Serbia while helping to participate in hosting children’s camp.  We will kindle Christian community, be a part of making disciples and developing leaders while experiencing what God is already doing in Serbia. 

The trip is open to members and friends of our Kentucky United Methodist Churches. No special skills are needed for the trip.

The cost for the trip is $2000/person, which includes your lodging, air & ground transportation, insurance, meals, and project supplies for the mission. Ages 16 & up are welcome to apply to become team members (minors should have a parent/guardian travelling with them).  Scholarships available if you are 25 years or younger. 

Be sure to fill out the Mission Trip Application and send it in with your deposit of $100 by March 15, 2019.  Checks should be made out to Kentucky Conference UMVIM.
