Church of the Promise and it’s leadership have collaborated with a diverse group of Church leaders from our city with hopes of creating a protected space for people to engage with the social issues which are often difficult to talk about. While treating everyone with dignity and respect, our goal is not to have us leave a Table Talk event with the same thoughts, but instead we hope to create a space where we can seek understanding of one another, learn more about these social issues, and more about the God that exists in each of us. The Table Talk leadership Team along with members of each individual Church represented feel there is a hole in our discipleship efforts if we choose not to engage in loving relationships with people who don’t look like us, think like us, or vote like us.
