The 2^nd Annual Clergy-Laity Leadership Empowerment Retreat

Friday, April 5^th Beginning with Registration at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6^th 2019:  8:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Guest Leader will be Dr. Candace M. Lewis, Co-Author of RESURGENCE: Navigating the Changing Ministry Landscape.

Dr. Lewis is a visionary leader, effective administrator, excellent preacher, and gifted teacher. Dr. Lewis presently serves as a UMC District Superintendent in the Florida Conference: Gulf Central Area.

ALL Pastors will receive a copy of Dr. Lewis’ book to read before coming to the Retreat.

REGISTRATION FEE:  Clergy $75 and Laity $50 (Individual Registration)
Clergy Team $125 (Clergy and 3 lay persons).
Overnight housing available at Kavanagh Retreat Center.


Registration Fee Includes All Retreat Material, Opening Night Reception, Continental Breakfast, Lunch, The Book “Resurgence”, Overnight Accommodation, Fun, and Fellowship.

Scholarships are available.

Pastors are asked to bring a book for the BOOK TABLE. The book will be place on the BOOK TABLE if someone can use it they take it; if you see one you can use you take it. J Also, the Retreat will be a good time to make your SBC21 donation.
