Wesley Manor Retirement Community Fall "Non Event" Fundraiser
The Wesley Manor Board of Directors requests the ABSENCE of your PRESENCE, in support of the Charitable Care Ministry. In keeping with our priority of health and safety, the May Golf Scramble fundraiser was cancelled. Now, as we approach October, we again find it necessary to cancel our most important fundraiser, the annual Fall Event Dinner. Our residents’ needs, however, look the same and cannot be cancelled or postponed. Of necessity, we must constantly raise funds to support our Charitable Care Ministry. Wesley Manor has never asked a resident to leave our community because of an inability to pay the full cost of their care. This is because the Charitable Care Ministry have always been there to help Wesley Manor to fill in the gaps. This spirit of benevolence is part of our mission and sets us apart from most other retirement communities. In response, Our Fall Event Committee is planning a unique way we can all continue supporting Wesley Manor’s Charitable Care Ministry: A “Non-Event” Fall Event! This gives you, our friends, an opportunity to continue your commitment to support our seniors from the comfort of your own home! Please show our older adults that you still care and want to help them remain here with their Wesley Manor “family.” Your donations change lives! Although we cannot gather in person for the Fall Event this year, we can all encircle these seniors with our love and support. Your gifts are 100% tax deductible and can be made by mailing a check marked Fall Event 2020, making a donation online at www.wesman.org, or by calling the development office and speaking to Carrie Burns or Linda Hillenbrand, 502.400.3239.
