Since 1902, the 5th Sunday Offering has given hope and a second chance at life to youth across Kentucky who have experience abuse, neglect or trauma. The generous support of the Kentucky Annual Conference provides the daily funds needed to enable our shared mission "to serve Christ by providing for the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of children and families." The Kentucky United Methodist Children's Homes (KyUMH) brings hope and healing to children ages 12-21 with histories of abuse, neglect and trauma. We give a safe space for these youth to live and grow, whether they are still living with their families, have been removed from their family and placed into foster care, or are leaving the foster care system to live on their own.
