Farm Field Cleanup
In the past few days, we have received information from Jim Morse, the KY Conference Disaster Response Coordinator, related to a need within our District and Conference. It has been brought to his attention that there are still many farmers throughout the Conference that are struggling with tornado debris in their fields and need help getting them cleared so they can return livestock or plant crops. To aid these farmers, March 26th, which is a Saturday, is set as a workday. This effort is not limited to skilled teams but is something that youth groups would be able to participate. In our District, the area most likely affected is Taylor County (Campbellsville) area. This assessment and other areas within the Conference is still ongoing.
To make this happen a response is needed within the next few days. If you have a group of volunteers willing to help these farmers, a group sign up form is available online. The link is https://forms.office.com/r/5kUAiRKkME
