Join United Methodist clergywomen from across the southeast as we wade and splash our way through the living water. Join us as we consider the story of the woman at the well from John 4. Drink deeply and let the water hold you and heal you. Dip a toe in the water or jump right in...or sit in the sand and let the waves find you.
Together at the well, we'll gather, worship, pray, sing, play, rest, ponder, create, connect, and laugh - a lot. Whether you feel like you're running on empty or walking on water, there's a place for you at the well.
The plenary speaker for this event will be Rev. Sarah Heath. Sarah is a graduate of Duke Divinity School and an ordained elder in the California-Pacific Annual Conference. She currently serves as the Teaching and Preaching Site Pastor for the Rancho Santa Margarita campus of Shepherd of the Hills UMC in Southern California.
Rev., Dr. Teresa Fry Brown, The Bandy Professor of Preaching at Candler School of Theology of Emory University, will provide us with our sending forth message.
