The Asbury Project
The Asbury Project (TAP) explores how social entrepreneurship carries out Kingdom-minded initiatives using the business approach. Attendees will hear key note speakers Jena Lee Nardella (Blood:Water) and Dr. Steven Garber (The Washington Institute for Faith, Vocation and Culture) on topics ranging from vocation to entrepreneurial start-ups, as well as testimony from last year’s winners. The second year of this free event will be held on November 5-6, 2015 in Wilmore, KY. The event concludes with the student business plan competition which will provide a total of $10,000 in capital to fund 5 social ventures. TAP is also the first chance to purchase a new DVD and Small Group Curriculum from Seedbed entitled The Social Entrepreneur: The Business of Changing the World. This work is designed for and written by both pastors and professionals in order to encourage them toward increased spiritual influence in their workplaces and neighborhoods. This is a FREE event with required registration. Interested persons may register online at http://asburyproject.org/register.html.
