St. Paul United Methodist Church will offer five performances of the long-running Louisville Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival December. 29, 30 and 31 this holiday season. The annual event is among a handful of Festivals true to the medieval tradition being performed in the U.S. today.
The festival will be presented December 29 and 30, 2016 at 5 pm and 8 pm and December 31, 2016 at 6:30 pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church, at the corner of Bardstown Rd. and Douglass Blvd.
Free tickets are required and will be available beginning Monday, November 28 by calling the ticket office at 502-459-1595. Admission for the performances is the voluntary offering of canned goods to be shared with those in need in our community.
Additionally, an elegant candlelight dinner in the medieval tradition will be offered each night. On December 29 and 30, 2016, dinner is served at 6:30 pm. On December 31, it will be served at 5 pm. The cost of dinner is $25 per person. Make reservations by calling the ticket office at 502-459-1595. Dinner attendees are guaranteed reserved seating for the performance.
The Louisville Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival is a unique musical and theatrical experience depicting Christ’s light coming into the World, and calling us to be that light through service and love.
