Nancy Tinnell

Look to him, and be radiant: so your faces shall never be ashamed.

Join us Saturday, September 20th at Middletown UMC as we present our 2014 Women's Conference. This year's keynote speaker will be Caroline Scott of Scott Family Ministries and the Good News Today TV show.

Breakout groups will be offered throughout the day and cover a variety of topics:

Finding Your "Army of Hope" - Leader: Dawn Sparks: When Dawn's husband went to the doctor to investigate his back pain, they were unprepared for the path unfolding before them. Dawn will speak freely about her journey alongside her husband, David, through his treatment and continued recovery.

A Bead and a Prayer - Leaders Sarah and Brittany: When the Israelites felt lost and afraid in the desert, God gave them a prayer tool of knotted fringe to help them stay focused on their God. Join Sarah and Brittany and custom craft your own prayer beads, utilizing special beads made by the women of Uganda and other materials.

Know Yourself - Leader: Beth McAlpin: Beth offers a unique (and fun) way to discover more about your personality. We don't want to spoil the session by giving away too many details. We think you will like it.

Strong in the Storm - Leader: Kellie Pledger: How can you, as a wife and mother, sustain and uplift the spirits of your family members in times of crisis without losing your own spiritual confidence? Kellie will share lessons from her personal experience.

Rise to Your Full Length - Leader Nancy Tinnell: Go ahead! Stand tall! Nancy will take you through a Bible study based on Jesus' actions in Luke 13. It's all about his promise and your possibilities.

On-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m. (ET) followed by a brief opening worship. Breakout sessions will begin promptly at 9:45. To register online go to www.middletownumc.org/events
