The goal of Connecting Neighbors Leadership Training Program is to equip conference personnel to share information for developing local church disaster response ministries within their areas of influence.
The Connecting Neighbors Program is a seven (7) step method for helping a local congregation establish and maintain a disaster ministry.
1. Family Preparedness (Put your own mask on first)
2. The Design Team- who gets to do the work
3. Things to consider before writing the plan
4. Gathering information/resources in the community
5. Writing the plan
6. Training to the plan
7. Reviewing the plan
