Nia Community of Faith hosts Thirsting Thursdays: A Spiritual Happy Hour every third Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the Nia Gathering Spot (921 Beasley Street, Suite 150, Lexington, Kentucky 40509). Neo-soul, jazz, and hip hop music, spoken word, poetry, art expressions, and networking along with refreshments are the fare of the evening. Local spoken word artists, musicians, artists, and poets are invited to “Bless the Mic” by submitting a mp3 file, a pdf file, or a YouTube video to TheMovement@windstream.net no later than the Friday prior to each Thirsting Thursdays. This month's theme is "Spring Break-Thru."
