Centenary United Methodist Youth Fellowship and a group of local hunters will again host the 3rd Annual Fall Hunting Kickoff and Wild Game Feast. The event will be held on Saturday evening, September 18, 6 p.m. at Floral Hall, on the grounds of the Shelby County Fairgrounds. The evening includes a wild game dinner, a live and silent auction, and entertainment by local band Cynthiana. Included in the live auction is a premier hunting trip a Colorado Elk and Mule Deer Hunt for October, 2010.
Turkey, pork, pheasant, dove and venison will be served, along with side items, beverages and desserts. Hot dogs and chicken nuggets are available for children. Dinner ticket prices range in cost. Individual tickets cost $12 per person. A family of four (two adults and two children) can purchase the Family Ticket for $25. Proceeds from the event and auction go to support outreach activities for Centenary United Methodist Youth Fellowship.
