Designed for African-American clergy, this event will provide tools for building successful ministries while developing greater self-awareness of soul, spirit, and mind. You will examine your strengths and challenges. These will be used to create strategies and approaches to becoming a stronger leader and more spiritually attuned.
You will experience excitement and renewal that will open your eyes to the real possibilities of creating transformative ministry in your local church. Leave with a new determination, a plan and commitment that will catapult you to excellence in ministry.
The Rev. Clarence Brown, former District Superintendent and the successful current Senior Minister of Annandale UMC in Annandale, Virginia, will be the lead facilitator for this event. His leadership and facilitation of this event was so powerful, that he was asked to return to take the group to an even higher level this year. You do not want to miss it!
Our context will be the unique opportunities and challenges of being an African-American in ministry within The United Methodist Church.
