Meet the Leaders
Clay Smith, an elder in the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, has served in ministry in the church for over 30 years.  Clay has a Masters of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt Seminary.  He served local congregations for nine years and has been the Executive Director of Hinton Rural Life Center since 1984.

Mollie M. Stewart is a dynamic layperson and highly regarded as a workshop leader and motivational speaker.  She is president of Stewart & Associates, Inc. and a meeting planner with the United Methodist Church.  Mollie is a native of Alabama and holds membership in a small membership church.
