The Lighthouse Community Center, located 5312 Old Shepherdsville Road will sponsor our Annual Safety Fair – Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 11AM – 3:00PM.  Everyone is welcome to this free event.  This event will offer a mixture of safety and fun for both children and adults.  We will seek to educate people about safety in a fun way.  The fair will offer a variety of booths about safety that will be interesting and rewarding for the entire familly.

Some of the highlights will include displays, demonstrations, child identification, free bike helmet give-a-ways, door prizes, Metro EMS, Metro Police District 6 Representatives, Metro District Fire Department, Swat Team, Free Gideon Bible Give-a-way , Free Food, and on the hour special guest visits from Dr. Barbara Shanklin, Major Jimmy Harper, Mike Aleendorf, and others.
