We hope to have a full tournament field (18 teams of 4). We also hope to raise money through hole sponsorships. Each church is encouraged to take a love offering or to make a donation. Also, please encourage local businesses and individuals to make donations. Each donation of $100 or more will be acknowledged at the Columbia District Golf Scramble for Missions on a tee sign with the name of the church, business, or individual. Each donation of $50-$99 will be acknowledged on a tee sign with two or more names. All donations should be mailed to Rev. Darren Brandon, District Superintendent, 250 Oxford Place, Columbia, KY 42728 by August 17th. Checks should be made payable to the Columbia District.
While the ultimate goal for this golf scramble is to raise funds for local missions and the UM East Africa Initiative, we also plan to enjoy a day of fun and fellowship. The format for this tournament (4 person scramble) will allow all levels of golfers to enjoy the day. Get your team ready and we will see you at the tee!
