As Aldersgate continues growing, the facilities must grow to meet the needs of the people.  With numbers being up for summer camps this year and weekends booked for retreats for the fall we are in desperate need for a larger space to accommodate everyone.  One of the most exciting events we are preparing for right now is a dinner to raise money for building a new lodge and dining hall.  We have a goal of raising $2,000,000 in order to begin this project. 

The dinner will be held at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington, KY on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 7:00 pm.  This will be a very special evening with exciting guests such as Tubby and Donna Smith, Bishop Al Gwinn, and Steele Harmon and former staff members.  There will be special music by Cheryl Tolbert, pianist.  For more information about becoming a table host or attending as a guest you can contact the camp at (606) 723-5078.
