A Movement in Time with Rev. Dr. Chestina Mitchell Archibald
“Strengthening the Black Church: Radicalism or Realism A Call for Revival”

Church historically has been the catalyst for positive change in the world. This session will seek to overcome tragic traps of tradition and empower participants to be instruments of transformation. The goal is to bring a renewal of the Christian Spirit that light may come amid this present darkness. We will examine teachings from the radical Jesus, the radicalism of John Wesley and seek to awaken and revive the radical each of us possess. To effectuate a true movement of positive change, we must embrace the radical love of Jesus, the radical faith of John Wesley and embrace the power of the Holy Spirit. All change is not positive, but no growth occurs without change. This experience would move us into a space of transformation, renewal, and empowerment.
