About ACT Now to End Racism
The United Methodist Church is joining other churches in the United States to bring thousands of Christians to the Mall on Capitol Hill on April 4 for a rally and kick-off event. There will also be a worship service the evening of April 3 and organized visits to legislators on April 5.
The idea is to have churches and church members listen to each other, hear the pain, resolve to make changes and move into action. The kick off will be held in Washington DC April 3-5, 2018. During the evening of April 3rd a worship service will be held. On April 4 as many Christians as possible are encouraged to go to the Mall in DC and rally together.
All United Methodists are encouraged to attend. This is an issue that effects all of our churches and all of this great nation. So, bring your whole church. Rent a bus and come together with local Pan-Methodist congregations in your area.
