CAMP Work Day

Caring for Aldersgate Ministry Programs

We’re excited to announce the annual CAMP (Caring for Aldersgate Ministry Programs) Work Day! Join supporters of Aldersgate Camp & Retreat Center for a weekend of missions April 20-21, 2018, to help upgrade the camp’s facilities and prepare the camp for summer camp programming.

Individuals or groups can check-in starting at 4:00pm on Friday to join for dinner between 6:30-7:30pm followed by a time of worship and fellowship or arrive Saturday morning starting at 7:30am for check-in, breakfast, and projects around camp. Saturday breakfast and a sack lunch will be provided.

The cost for the weekend is $10 and will help cover the cost of food and materials. Lodging will be available to those who arrive on Friday, but please register early to ensure availability.

There are a variety of projects for all skill levels. Groups are encouraged to call and adopt a project ahead of time.

Don’t forget to bring some tools with you. We have a limited supply of hammers, battery-powered tools, limb clippers, etc., & we’re expecting 100+ people. View the list of projects to see what type of tools/supplies you might need. 
 

Adopt a Project:

Do you want to take more ownership in your camp? Take a look at this year’s project list and adopt a project. You can help ensure we finish specific projects by bringing tools, supplies, and the labor required for the project you adopt.

Even if you can’t make it in April, you can still adopt a project to support financially by donating materials or financially for the supplies needed for a specific project.
