In light of the Natural Disaster that struck Western Tennessee and Kentucky in the early hours of December 11th, the Kentucky Conference United Methodist Volunteers in Missions (UMVIM) is holding Team Leader trainings.  These trainings are designed to equip people to plan, build and lead effective teams into areas that need help rebuilding lives and property.

This is rescheduled from February 5th.
March 5th  - Elizabethtown Memorial, Elizabethtown from 9 – 12 Eastern Time - Registration page for this event
March 12th  - Immanuel: Boone Campus, Florence, KY from 12:30pm – 3:30pm Eastern Time - Registration page for this event

These trainings are offered free of charge, but preregistration is required:
            - Preregister through the Conference website (kyumc.org).
            - You will receive a link to download the Team Leader Handbook upon registration.
            - Handouts and study material will be provided at the training.

NOTE: Please visit www.umvim.org and to go to the Resources Tab and choose Team Leader Handbook then download the free PDF copy.  Before attending the training, you need to read and be prepared to discuss pages 5-50.  Because we are doing this training in three hours instead of five, it is important that you pre-read this material.

Masks are required to attend.

UMVIM Team Leader Training equips and empowers persons to serve as team leaders for short-term mission trips. The training covers the logistics and spiritual components of planning and executing a successful mission trip. Our United Methodist Mission sites tell us they can tell a real, positive difference about teams led by UMVIM-trained leaders. All United Methodist churches sponsoring mission teams are encouraged to have their leaders complete this training.

This registration is for March 5th  - Elizabethtown Memorial, Elizabethtown from 9 – 12 Eastern Time
