Mission Opportunities

There are hundreds of United Methodist mission sites around the United States and around the world that are ready to receive short-term mission teams and individual mission volunteers from your congregation.   The following opportunities are projects for mission teams and volunteers approved by United Methodist Volunteers in Mission:

Mission Opportunities for Short-Term Mission Teams

United Methodist mission sites in all fifty states are looking for UMVIM mission teams to come and serve.   The UMVIM project list for the United States gives mission site details and contact information for hundreds of sites ready to receive mission teams.   Also included are long-term disaster relief sites in the United States.   Look over the project list and contact directly mission sites your team would be interested in serving with. 

 

Methodist mission sites all across the globe are ready to receive UMVIM mission teams.   The UMVIM International project list gives mission site details and contact information for hundreds of projects.   Look over the project list and contact directly mission sites your team would be interested in serving with. If you need, help you may contact the Kentucky Conference UMVIM Coordinator.

 

Mission Opportunities for Individuals & Couples

Mission opportunities exist for individuals & couples that would like to serve within the United States or internationally as volunteers for a longer-term period (from 2 months to 2 years), serving as volunteer missionaries.   More information, and listings of openings, can be found at the link below:
 

Conference Mission Trips

From time to time, mission trips are sponsored by Kentucky Conference UMVIM or other conference entity, and are open to people from across the Kentucky Conference. The following are trips are currently being sponsored:

Honduras - June 20 - 27, 2020

Thailand - August 6-17, 2020
