Conference Office Closed

With things evolving so quickly with the health threat of COVID-19, the decision has been made that the staff of the Kentucky Annual Conference will continue to work remotely for another two-weeks.

Also, all meetings and events scheduled to be held at the conference office will be canceled or conducted via teleconference. Tentatively, face-to-face meetings and events will resume at the office after Easter..

The situation will be re-evaluated at that time to see if it is appropriate for the staff and events to resume.

The staff is committed to continuing our work as best we can during this rather unprecedented time. So as we practice social distancing, as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends, we will use the following steps to stay in touch:

  • The main voice mailbox will be monitored for messages hourly. If you leave a voicemail for someone on the voice mailbox associated with our main phone numbers, 502-425-3884 or 800-530-7236, it will be forwarded to the appropriate person. It will then be up to that individual to check voicemail regularly.
  • If you leave a voicemail at a specific phone extension, it will be up to the individual to check voicemails.
  • We are working to make sure that all staff members are able to check their emails remotely. All staff members’ email addresses are located on the staff page of our conference website. If you email staff during this time, we will answer in as timely a manner as possible.

We ask that as we all face this global health emergency, we would pray for all who are affected by this disease and those who are caring for the afflicted. As a community may we be mindful of how we can care for and be in ministry with the most vulnerable in our circles.
