We should be able to start distributing cleaning buckets and health kits from the UMCOR shipment this coming Monday.  David Pratt, the Bluegrass District Response Coordinator will be taking lead on this part of the response and I will be backing him up when he is unavailable.

Within Kentucky, Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster and the Kentucky Conference will be the coordinating entities for delivery of cleaning kits and health kits.

It is going to be a week or more before local government will be able to determine what they will be able to provide in the way of debris removal.

As the local response begins, please keep in mind that we are still in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Here are guidelines to help everyone stay safe  as we reach out to help others during this time.

Folks, there are many good efforts and ministry being done by a lot of people out there.  When you get chance, share those successes with Cathy Bruce in Communications so we all can celebrate them and be encouraged by them.
