Wesley Village to Honor 2015 Heroes, Saints and Legends

June 29, 2015

Wesley Village Senior Living Community of Wilmore, KY will again honor several United Methodist Kentuckians who have given a lifetime of service to our Lord and to others.  Those to be honored this year on the evening of Tuesday, October 13th at the Embassy Suites in Lexington will be:

John Adams – long-time Lexington area civic and Southern Hills UMC lay leader whose distinguished career as a District and Circuit Court Judge spanned two decades.  A man of tall stature, he also played center for Adolph Rupp’s Kentucky Wildcats in the early 1960’s!

Bob and Norma Noe – members of Lancaster UMC and benefactors of the “Gift to the Commonwealth” – America’s most extensive collection of early Kentucky furniture, paintings, ceramics and silver, soon to be showcased in a new wing of the Louisville Speed Museum.

David L. Hilton – beloved Kentucky Conference pastor and Hospice pioneer.   He also served as a missionary to Malaysia (where he first met his wife and fellow missionary, Mary Lois); and later as the Superintendent of the Red Bird Missionary Conference.

Proceeds from the Banquet will support the ministry of Wesley Village.  Ticket price: $50 per person.  Seating is limited.  For more information and reservations please call Tim or Alan at (859) 858-3865 ext. 262.
