Pleasant View Receives Hunger & Poverty Grant

Linda Gayheart presents a check to Carol Ball from the Pleasant View UMC (Corbin District) in Whitley County.  Rev. Mike Albertson is the pastor there. The check is for the Children and Hunger grants given by the United Methodist Appalachian Ministries Network, which is a 13 state organization.  UM AMN works with local, district, conference, and general church leadership to develop coordinated ministries that seek justice for all God's people in Appalachia.
