Sulphur Well Collects Money, Health Kits for Haiti

Sulphur Well United Methodist Church (Columbia District) recently responded to the need in Haiti. A special offering of $500.00 was received one Sunday morning. The following Wednesday night the congregation assisted the youth in preparing personal care kits to be sent to UMCOR. A total of 104 kits were assembled. All items were donated by the congregation and the Wednesday night youth group. Funds were also donated to cover the $1.00 per kit for toothpaste and the postage to mail the boxes. We are so proud of our congregation for responding to the needs of the people of Haiti. We continue to remember them in prayer.
