Prayer of the Month
I pray, Lord, that I may learn the obedience of a faithful follower who takes time to LISTEN in prayer and remains sensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, who with Thee, and the Son, reigns in glory forever. Amen.

Thought for the Month
Spring is a time to look and LISTEN. Look at the daffodils blooming and the leaves popping out on the trees, and LISTEN as the birds join in a chorus announcing Spring’s renewal of life, in all of God’s Creation. LISTEN and renew your Spirit Life!

Senior Ministry Tip
Go outside in God’s beautiful Spring sanctuary, and pick a daffodil or lilac bouquet to share with someone who needs a bit of God’s renewed creation brought inside to them with love.

MAY – Make plans for a day of recognition for Older Adults in your church this month.
The UMC took appropriate action at the 2008 General Conference to establish May as the time to recognize the contributions of older adults and to join with them in providing ministries that support and empower older adults.
