Golden Disciples - Food for Thought
Scripture of the Month
Is it not to SHARE your bread with the hungry; and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, ….. (Isaiah 58:70)
Table Grace of the Month
Give us grateful hearts, O Father, for all Thy mercies, and make us mindful of the needs of others (so we will SHARE both the daily bread, and the bread of life), through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (Excerpts by Julie B. Sevig)
Thought for the Month
And, like many things we do, the more we practice SHARING, the better we become at it. Remember to practice SHARING and caring, this month, as we are CALLED BY CHRIST; and SENT TO SERVE, and SHARE! (Excerpts by Ruth Gilmore)
