Stones View UMC in the Elizabethtown District is Destroyed by Fire

Please be in prayer with the members of the Stones View United Methodist Church congregation in Grayson County.

The Stones View UMC church building was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning. Elizabethtown District Superintendent, Rev. Michael Gibbons, was with the congregation Sunday afternoon.

The Stones View congregation will hold worship services at their normal time beginning next Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Short Creek United Methodist Church.  Billy Compton is the pastor of both congregations.
