View Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Different Drummer, a marketing company specializing in entertainment with a faith message, is bringing you, people of faith, a special invitation.
Different Drummer is inviting you to screen an upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in your church. The hit ABC show is premiering this fall with an inspiring story of love, hope and the unbreakable bond of family.
Steve Keefer and his son, Brian, faithful members of Salem United Methodist Church in Pennsylvania. have forged an incredible bond. Steve retired early to nurture his son Brian, a star athlete and Homecoming King, who became paralyzed in a life-threatening accident in 2008, just days before his 21st birthday. Steve and Brian are a team and have worked hard to help Brian realize his dreams of graduating from college someday and regaining his ability to walk.
The episode features the show's first remodel in five years, assisted technology to help Brian re-gain his independence in the house, a makeover for the Lockhaven University student lounge and even a College Party Demo.
Different Drummer is asking you to screen this episode within your congregation before it airs. Ideas around a screening include: making a church film night, inviting the youth groups to watch or hosting a community screening within your church. The choice of screening is yours. Ideally, they are looking for groups of 20 or more people but any size group is fine. There are no surveys or questions to answer afterward. Just sit back and enjoy. Different Drummer just wants to get this fantastic show seen by as many faith people as possible.
