Celebrating "The Big Game"

September 26, 2013

On Sunday, September 15th, Hindman United Methodist Church was a splash of color throughout the parking lot.  Everyone was invited to wear their favorite sports apparel and tailgate before the Big Game -- theworship service!!  So from 9:30 am until worship began at 11:00 am, adults fellowshipped, ate and listened to music while the children played and had their faces painted. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Eight families set up as tailgaters and food ranged from beignets to biscuits and gravy, from eggs to pancakes and any other breakfast food you can think of!

In addition to the fun and excitement of a beautiful late summer day, the tailgating event was a very visible witness to the community, with many guests joining our church family.

Over 150 people tailgated and then worshipped with us at "The Game of the Century"
