Adam Hamilton to Speak at 2014 Annual Conference

The Kentucky Annual Conference is pleased to announce that Rev. Adam Hamilton, founding pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS, will lead three teaching sessions at the 2014 Annual Conference session.
Rev. Hamilton’s presentations will begin with the 7:15 p.m. session on Tuesday, June 10, and continue with sessions on Wednesday, June 11, at 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Rev. Hamilton regularly lectures throughout the United States on leadership, evangelism and preaching. The focus of our 2014 Annual Conference is leadership.
Rev. Hamilton has received the Denman Award in Evangelism, and the Circuit Rider Award for excellence in church leadership. He was named Distinguished Evangelist of the United Methodist Church by the Foundation for Evangelism and he was named one of the "Ten People to Watch in America's Spiritual Landscape" by Religion and Ethics Newsweekly.
Rev. Hamilton's congregation, the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, has grown from four people in 1990 to more than 18,000 adult members, with an average weekly worship attendance of more than 8,800 in 2012. The church was listed as the most influential mainline church in America in a 2005 survey of American pastors.
