Winter Blitz Update

January 14, 2014

This year at Winter Blitz we are collecting food for The Shelby County Backpack Project. The Shelby County Backpack Project is designed to send food home over the weekend with children who are identified by teachers & school administrators as being in need. They are serving as many as 300 students a week! They depend 100% on monetary and food donations each week to keep this project a Success! $1300.00 is the average cost per week.

Here is how you can help. Collect pop-top cans of soup, chef Boyardee, cereal bars, fruit cups, ramen noodles, or Vienna sausage. Bring them with you to Friday night of Winter Blitz and deposit them at registration.
The group that brings in the most food will be recognized during Winter Blitz and gets two registrations for next year's Winter Blitz.
If your group hasn't registered yet, online registration ends tonight (January 14) at 11:59 ET
