Church in the Park

On Sunday, August 17, the five Louisville area African American churches will join together for Church in the Park. The five churches: Amazing Grace, Breath of Life, Coke Memorial, Genesis and Sycamore Chapel will come together to offer a unique worship and fellowship opportunity to the neighborhood surrounding Chickasaw Park, in the city's west end. Area residents will be invited to come worship the Lord and then stay for a picnic and time of fellowship.
Louisville District Superintendent, Rev. Rebecca Curry is excited about this show of Christian unity, "once again the power of the Connection will be evident as our African American churches meet together to worship God and create community."
The keynote speaker will be Rev. Linda Moore, Pastor of More and Moore Love Ministry.
